FREQUENTLY ASKED Q’S
No such thing as a dumb question!
Please reach out to us directly with anything else that comes up!
I want to look good! What should I wear to all these various events?
For Welcome Drinks think cocktail casual! Wedding day is black tie optional. Dark suits are great for men who don’t want to go the tux route. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside and on grass, so recommend bringing a jacket/shawl. The reception is also on grass, but will be tented! For brunch, feel free to wear your finest pajamas or lounge wear.
Are kids invited?
We’d love to see your kids at Welcome Drinks (if it’s not too late!) and brunch the next day, but hoping to keep the Wedding Day to adults only. All you Moms and Dads deserve a night out!
What time do you recommend we arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm, so please arrive between 2:30-2:45pm for a good seat and a glass of champagne.
Will there be transportation to the after party from the reception?
Nick & G’s is walking distance from the Inn! We will all mosey down at about 10pm.
Can I come to brunch even if I’m not staying at the Inn?
Yes! Everyone is invited to brunch. Please join if you’re able!
Where is everything located at the Inn?
Check out the map!
Any recommendations on things to do while in San Diego?
There’s an Old Car Show in Rancho Santa Fe every Saturday from 8am-11am. If that’s your thing, definitely grab a coffee (Thyme in the Ranch, Rancho Roasters, or Cafe Positano) and stroll around!
Into hiking? Check out Annie’s Canyon Trail, which features expansive views of San Elijo Lagoon. It is about a 40-minute hike and 2 miles round trip
Rather hit the beach? So many good options. Here’s a few to chose from depending on how far you want to venture: Cardiff State Beach, Solana Beach, La Jolla Shores
Need a massage? The Inn has a 10/10 spa and you can get $100 off by telling them the code word “Erewhon”. Not even kidding!
Golfing is also a thing so we hear!
Is eating activity enough? A few thoughts on dinner and brunch, but reach out if you need any suggestions here!
Dinner: Tons of good spots on the Coast Highway walking distance from the welcome drinks spot, Union Kitchen & Tap! Mexican, Italian, Sceney Asian Fusion, and Peruvian depending on your mood. Union also has great food if you want to make it easy!
Brunch/Lunch: Stratford Court Cafe, The Waverly, Claire’s On Cedros, Parakeet Cafe, Atelier Manna
